“Who’s Afraid?”

This December 5th, be very afraid, as the Green Room welcomes actor (credits include Dai the Barman (Satellite City)) and sustainability consultant, Rhodri Thomas, as he treats us to his funny and pertinent performance, exploring the irrational fears and cynicism, as seen through the eyes of beleaguered environmentalist turned climate change sceptic, Dr Gareth Jones. 

In reviewing the tensions at work in our modern technological democracies (and within himself) he begins to understand where his fear and cynicism comes from and makes a direct appeal to younger generations to take up the challenge of 
finding the answers to our current problems and to provide the vision he feels he is losing.

With contributions from Atlantic College students and members of the public, this combination of lecture, stand-up comedy, drama and video aims to both provoke and entertain.

Doors open 8pm. Everyone Welcome. Entry £4 (proceeds go to Sustainable Wales). BYOB.
