Our community-run café serves lush homemade bread, soups, cakes and savouries all at reasonable prices. Our volunteer bakers aim to use mainly fairtrade and local ingredients offering both savoury and sweet dishes for morning coffee, lunch and tea.
So please join us, and sample our rich coffee, refreshing tea, luxurious hot chocolate, chilled cola, fun fruit spritzers and taste our tantalizing cakes, soups, sarnies and snacks.
(Funds go to support Sustainable Wales).

The Green Room pop up fairtrade Café returns this Sat., 21st October - with a selection of gorgeous home cooked fairtrade ingredient goodies and quality fairtrade hot drinks.

The SUSSED Green Room pop up fair trade café returns on Saturday call in for some delicious home cooked food, plus fairtrade teas & coffees. Above SUSSED James St. Porthcawl just up from the Bandstand on John st.

The pop up Green Room Café happens every third Saturday above SUSSED. On 18th February the Café returns with home made goodies and a selection of fair trade teas, coffees and ethically produced drinks.
The Green Room Café returns on SAT. 21st December, pop in for a break above our fairtrade and ethical high street store, SUSSED, James St. above from the bandstand, Porthcawl CF36 3BG.
The Café happens every third Saturday.

To celebrate this year’s Fairtrade Fortnight social enterprise, SUSSED is offering Fairtrade freebies all fortnight.
Charity, Sustainable Wales are also holding an all-day Feel Good Fairtrade Breakfast and a Big Brew Afternoon Tea on Sat 12th March above SUSSED, 4-5 James Street, Porthcawl.
“Sample tasty tea, delicious coffee or decadent chocolate during the entire fortnight in SUSSED” said new Development Officer, Alexis Kirsten.
“On Sat 12th March, all-day, try our ‘non-greasy spoon’ natural breakfast, morning-coffees and our afternoon teas, offering nutritious fair trade goodies including: mueslis, porridge, homemade breads, jams, muffins, gateaux and cakes, coffees and teas. “
“They are not just good for you, they’re good for others too. It’s the tastiest way to give global farmers your support!” said Margaret Minhinnick, Director of the charity.
“Hard working farmers and labourers in developing countries endure challenging conditions, just so that we can tuck in to these delicious foods every day. Yet, ironically, they are sometimes paid so little that they can’t afford their own next meal. Buying Fairtrade means they’re treated fairly.” continued SUSSED Development Officer, Alexis Kirsten.
